The City of Caesarea

Constructed by King Herod himself, Caesarea is a city desired by many because of its prime location in between two cities of Haifa and Tel Aviv. It is situated near the Mediterranean Sea which provides the crisp air of the Seaside and the echoes of the waves. A great escape from the bustling city life. Living near the Mediterranean Sea is an experience worth taking.
The great architectural masterpieces of Herod have gained its popularity in the modern times. The remains of these infrastructures can still be seen. One of the most popular is the theatre made to accommodate a large crowd to watch gladiator games. This is a big sporting event that entertains hundreds of Romans at the same time. Temples and Synagogues still stand which reminds the colourful religion of the Roman Empire.
All these contribute to the colourful history of Caesarea that attracts tourists from all over the world.
